hey ::slight_smile: i no this is not really related to avast but i don’t no where else to ask.i want to burn a .ts file (from my USB stick)to DVD but my programs (window media player and movie maker)wont let me burn it saying i need codecs? i try searhing for it on the net but im scared to download a fake/virus one.or do i need a another program to do that stuff? anyone have good free downloads i should look at. make apprecate it!

files you download from the net you can check here www.virustotal.com (max 20mb) the file will then be scanned by 43 malwarescanners and you are precented a scan result if malware, then you delete/shredd the file

File extensions are usually dot-three letters, are they not?

If you open a dvd, you will such files along with vob files. These files are used to store some configuration on the dvd.

+1 i burn everything with this, couple it with dvdfab and you can copy all your dvd’s also.
