files you download from the net you can check here www.virustotal.com (max 20mb) the file will then be scanned by 43 malwarescanners and you are precented a scan result if malware, then you delete/shredd the file

there is also www.virscan.org and http://virusscan.jotti.org/en

See if this works for you>>http://www.imgburn.com/

I’m wondering what a .ts file is.
File extensions are usually dot-three letters, are they not?

Hi tarq,

How are you?

If you open a dvd, you will such files along with vob files. These files are used to store some configuration on the dvd.

Thanks nmb. I’m pretty good, could be worse for sure.

+1 i burn everything with this, couple it with dvdfab and you can copy all your dvd’s also.

.ts (transport stream) output files
its from digital set top box recodered though USB

I didn’t know that. I had only seen on DVDs which are of smaller sizes. Thx

The .TS file format is used to broadcast high-definition TV (HDTV).

To burn a .TS file for playing on your DVD player, you will first need to convert the file to another format such as MPEG2 using a tool like HDTVtoMPEG2
