alrighty, my friend is having some computer problems. i knwo you guys know almost everything, so i came here. last time i came here was a while ago… now my computer is working fine. 
anyways, when she turns on her computer, the computer automatically shuts off in like 3-4 seconds. she uses the operating system Windows 2000. So, what do you think is wrong? Possible solutions would be… reformat? or what?

Could it be a hardware problem… It won’t be even possible to start Windows or logon…
If she changes the CMOS battery, will the computer work?
Can she start the BIOS settings (clicking del or F2 while turning on the computer)?
BIOS? CMOS? ??? im so confused… -_- im not that kind of tech person…
