What will clicking the “resolve” button do? Will I be given a warning before proceeding? Will I be able to make selections? Will I be given a explanation of what will happen?

We don’t even know what Avast Program that this relates to ?
Clicking resolve could initiate a solution that isn’t reversible, I believe clicking resolve initiates the action right there and then (no second chances/options).
For instance if you were running say the Avast CleanUp tool or an Avast Scan, then clicking the resolve button, initiates the action.

Without wanting to jump to conclusions, perhaps you are referring to this type of button?
If that is the case, clicking on it will not solve anything initially, but will redirect you to purchase the product that can solve the problems that avast premium security has notified you about.

I took from what was written they meant the resolve button on this forum.
makes sence it could be the resolve button in the UI which just makes you spend more money on buying add on products.
