What's the latest Stable Version?

I’m a bit confused. I came here a couple of days ago because I wasn’t getting any definition updates which I notice that the older versions of avast where all having the same issue. My old version is 7. That’s when the program gave me problems of accessibility. Being I’m legally blind and my computer settings are very high the setting windows are partially cut off. There was a work around so I kept with it.

Now I read that Avast team is still keeping the updates going on these older versions. That would be great, unfortunately to wait too long could cause problems without having definition updates. It’s been about 4 days now. So I thought I would check with my older computer and see if the new version would be now more accessibility or would be worse then what I have now.

Anyway when I came the other day there was version. 17.13394.0. But on the board today says the New Avast is 17.1.2286. When downloading offline (being I have an older version) I got this version 17.2.3409.0. So I am quite confused as to what is the stable version and the direct offline link to it. Oh I should say free version. Somebody also said that there is a 17.13394.2 but I don’t see that here on the boards so I just don’t know where to go. Thanks in advance… Oh and if anybody could say when the definition updates for the older version will be up and running that would be great too. Just in case I issues with newer version on accessibility. Again Thanks.

Thanks. I’m downloading from the link you gave me. So then when I see NEW: Avast 17.1.2286 on the board that’s the builds not version number? Just trying to understand as when I download and hover or check properties it says version. This way I could make a note of this. Thanks again.

17.1.2286 is the version number.
You can see the build number in the update section or the about section.
