Hello all
My AvastAntivirus has been working perfectly since the beginnig. But, since yesterday it doesnt run at startup and im getting this message in chest:
Program cannot use Chest client: (null)
—>Description: Virus chest server is not running. RPC communication failed.
Whats going on? Infection?
Try to reinstall avast!.. ;D ;D
Or before doing that, try “add/remove programs”> “change” and repair it when prompted.
Just to be sure, have you another antivirus in this computer? Had in the past?

I only use avast, let me repair it or reinstall in that case… ;D
Would you please recomend me a good antivirus so i can use both?
The only reason Tech asked about another AV is that is one of the most common causes of the RPC error.
It isn’t advised to have two resident antivirus scanners installed on the same system.
Both? No, it’s impossible without problems and conflicts.
Stay with avast, and let us know if you need further help on activating it.
