That right as my subject said when avast! Virus Cleaner going to get updated is still remain as version 1.0.209, built on 18.6.2006.

Your about 8 months behind this version above :frowning: come on guys please keep this avast! Virus Cleaner up to date.

And I am still a member of your Avast 4 Home Edition family ;D :wink:

avast! Virus Cleaner was meant for big widespread infections; if you check the list of Cleaner-supported malware, you’ll see some big names that were on the top of the malware chart for a long time.
These days, however, you don’t see such kind of malware - one variant that would spread on an enormous number of computer. Instead, there’s an enormous amount of variants, each of them affecting only a few computers. This is not what avast! Virus Cleaner was built for… so I think it won’t be updated, unless a big “hit” appears again.

Thanks for explaining igor phew! I thought you guys may have forgotten about updating the Avast Virus Cleaner.

I’m so glad I am safe with you guys and the Avast product, better go back and put my feet up and relax ;D.
