any1 havea ny ideas
also my avg reported a virus found
This occurs when avast crashes on the exit or cannot exit completely.
Start avast again, close it normally, start again.
And does avast detect it too?

when i open avast the error has gone
not sure ,as when i do a full scan i get permissions denied
I’m not on Linux now, but what happens if you run:
sudo avastgui
and give the password?
just ran sudo avast in terminal,it has done a full scan with out any problems.
