When my free trial is over how to I get back to Avast free?

I have 11 days remaining in my free trial. How do I get back to the free version of Avast? Do I have to uninstall the current version?

ok, I found in another thread:

There should be a Revert button (or wording to that effect) avastUI, Maintenance, Registration, to revert to the free version.

If you can’t find it you will probably have to a reinstall of avast free.

but I can’t find it. :frowning:

found it… (well hidden)

MAINTENANCE

at the bottom of the page is a little tab on the right, “other options”

which reveals at the bottom: “Switch me back to avast! free”

Thanks for that, I never wanted to damn trial version and (I thought) always take care to avoid these free trials.

But the latest Avast caught me out and then started blocking stuff I didn’t want blocked.

Oh well another restart to remove it.
