Please help?
have you checked the FAQ section… http://www.avast.com/en-us/faq.php?q=2014#searchForm
Yes, it only mentions what the plug in does, not where to find install options in the latest version. Used to be under settings. I have heard others got the prompt during install or through there control panel but I either missed it on install or skipped it and I don’t have avast in my control panel.
If your browser is Chrome : https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/avast-online-security/gomekmidlodglbbmalcneegieacbdmki?hl=en
in another plea for help I posted I could find one of the plug ins for chrome but none for firefox. I found a backdoor way to install the adblock plugin from avast through a folder in avast but I want the avast plugin for firefox
I asked avast team member lukas.hasik the other day in a message and he told me
We removed the management of plugins from avast gui. It caused lot of troubles. Please go directly to your browser plugins. And uninstall it from plugins management - it depends on your browser where exactly it is.
Once again I appreciate the help but I dont want to delete or uninstall them - I want to install them. Only one is offered in chrome and none in firefox. I like the plugins and want them. SO they removed them from the gui so where do I get them?!!!
Try in your browser addons section(Page)
Have you checked the addons manager in Firefox? It could be there but just disabled.
it’s not disabled I am not a complete noob, they are not installed what so ever.
i have the same problem…I can’t find the browser integrations management in avast menu
Seems you have also a reading problem, since it has already been said by Avast that the management GUI has been removed. It’s gone. Not available any more. Use native browser tools to manage the extensions.
This forum would extremely benefit if someone pressing the BAN button… this kind of flammers insulting faithful customers who paid shouldnt be here they are not helping you Avast they are only making your customers more angry. :
