Another option is to click on “Member Map” in the menu at the top, then place a pin for yourself… I have one there ;D

i have a pin on the map for myself but their are only a hand full of pins for the hold word. 
OK, I put another pin on the map, not exactly accurate, but in the general area of where I live–north of Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by cornfields and cows.
now if the other 30,000 members would put their pin on the map we would know where every lives. ;D
You will find my pin in the southeastern corner of North Carolina, USA.
Marc57, I have many friends in WV and have been all over that state in the past 30 years. I’ve been through St Marys & Parkersburg quite a few times. Most of my friends live around the Charleston area.

The map used to have hundreds of pins - many avast users used to have their choice of flag … a pity it is that some thought could not have been given to preserving these before there were changes to the forum software that have produced no immediately noticeable improvements.

You have made my day. I was afraid to mention the flags again, and was disappointed that so many people hadn’t replaced their pins. I am glad to see the members in the USA are increasing. Where are all the pins from the UK and EU? I know a few have replaced them.
I am hoping we will get our flags back too.

you see it is nice to see all the different flags from around the world and where each other live.we have people on this forum from around the globe that have come together by the INTERNET to help each other with the avast antivirus software and to be INTERNET friends.it doesn’t matter here if our governments like the other country’s or not we all are just people from around the globe that want to be friends and help each other as much as we can. i hope what i have said makes scents to you.
Hi guys, I am very new to this blog of sorts, and I assume that everyone here does indeed use the Avast protection. I am currently using the home edition and am curious about the profess. version. Does anyone use that one? and if so how is it different from the original home version? I gather from some of the comments posted here that it is not OK to post this type of comment here. Why not? I thought that this was a place to get to know everyone and find out about the problems that one might occur during internet use. Anyway, I am glad to be here and hope that if I need answers, this is the place to find them.
