Where is the license key button?

Hi
Last month avast 4 was changed to avast 5. Advised that avast 5 needs to be re register. Received a new license with the following instructions:
Antivirus v5.0 (orange ball) **

  1. Highlight the license key above, then right click on it and select “Copy”
  2. Right click the orange “a-ball” in the bottom right corner of the screen, then left click “Registration information”
  3. Click the “Insert license key” button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Right click in the empty Registration box then select “Paste”
  5. Click “OK”. Your license key is now inserted and the program can now be used free of charge for a further 12 months.

Cannot locate the insert license key button at the bottom of the screen, or any file with the a license key.

On-line registration is very simple and it’s the preferred method for all users of Avast Antivirus 5.0 installed on a computer with standard Internet connectivity. To perform on-line registration, follow these steps:

Both retrieving information button is not showing anything or the off line registration box is missing.

Then try a new clean install, safesurf have made nice userguide here

  7. Clean your computer up (clean up cache, etc.).

  8. Install the newest version of Avast and reboot twice.

  9. Get Internet access and update Avast definitions.

  10. Register your copy or add the license key for Free, Pro or AIS.

  11. Reset your settings, if needed.
