Tednelly you are the master of Firefox add-ons.

Only 47 better still they all work very well. ;D 3 Less than Tech ::slight_smile:

If I had to manage that many add-ons i would have blown a fuse by now lol

A lot of them are set and forget Justin. Once set to your liking… forget-it…it keeps on doing the job. I do however keep an eye out on the developers site for any changes to my favorite addons.

what about updates and such? oh well maybe I’m just stupid, forgive me I’m young and still learning

what about updates and such? oh well maybe I'm just stupid, forgive me I'm young and still learning
We all have to ask questions to learn Justin even an old fart like me. The update process in Firefox is automatic Justin. I have Firefox set to let me know if there is a addon update. Tools/Options/Advanced/Update.See Image attached. I have been know to hack addons when there is an update to Firefox itself and I want a particular addon to work with the new FF version. In general the addons are not updated too often.

Ah, thanks for understanding, and that makes a lot more sense now I didn’t even know Firefox had that capability oh well that’s what I get for not looking ;D

You can periodically do a manual update (my preferred option on dial-up) by using firefox menu, Tools, Add-ons. That opens the add-ons window at the bottom of that a button ‘Find Updates,’ this checks for updates to all of your installed ad-ons.

Use Update Notifier
