Windows or Avast?

avast! free doesn’t have a firewall.

Hope i’m alright slipping this in here, With A/Pro and Windows you have a choice,you only need one But which one?
Since I use the free version, my choice is simple, the one that comes with the OS.
If you’re using avast! Internet Suit, you’ve paid for a firewall among other nice features so why not use it.
Avast Pro does not have a firewall, you would need AIS for the avast firewall.

I do have AIS as it happens i don’t know why i call it pro!! .Back to the Walls what is the result if you leave them both up? do they conflict and end up not do’ing as good a protection job as one on it’s own.

1 Firewall
Zone alarm and Comodo have the best free firewalls in my opinion. Comodo is great but it annoys me because it blocks everything but zone alarm learns which programs to let through. I’m using Zone Alarm. I like it.
It depends on how you set it up. I use CFW with absolutely no problems.
