Which smartphone?

I am looking for a new smartphone and am stuck on which one to get. I currently use a Blackberry Bold 9780, and for quite some time have stuck with Blackberry as it uses PUSH email technology and in my opinion is still the best handset for emails. I send and receive a lot of emails for this is important to me.

I decided on the new Blackberry Z10, but am now not so sure as Blackberry is definitely not the best when it comes to apps.

The Sony Experia Z looks good, but i have heard it’s not great for emails. If i decide not to go with the Blackberry Z10 I am looking for an ANDROID phone as they, along with iphones are the best when it comes to apps, but I really do not want to go anywhere near an iphone!

So, any suggestions?

All the phones I’ve ever used all have push ability for emails.

Have a look at the new Samsung Galaxy S4 if your after android, Sony make terrible phones imo so that wouldn’t even be considered for me.

Samsung has many great models available.

Samsung touch screens are like Acer touch screens. I tested the Acer Aspire and Galaxy Note and they both felt good.

Well also on Samsung Galaxy, great and secured with avast! Mobile Security and ABP…

polonus

after using Nokia Lumia 800 for a month i now like this better then Android

And why do you say that? ;D

my personal taste… and my Android needed frequent restarts, problems updating apps, needed to uninstall / reinstall apps…

The Nokia phone have just worked and very easy to use when you get used to the OS, not a singel problem so i plan to upgrade to the new 920

What version of the OS are you talking about ??? No problems here using 4.2.1

Samsung xcover 2.3.6

At one point i really wanted the Lumia 920, but then i heard Windows app store was rubbish. Is it? Looks like a real good handset though.

Which phones have you used? I thought Blackberry were the only ones that did push email? They all do POP3, IMAP & Microsoft Exchange, but as far as i am aware only Blackberry do PUSH.

not in my opinion…but i only had the phone a month
then you also have Nokia app store…apps only for nokia phones

I’ve used HTC, Samsung and IPhone and they all have the push function.

If you want to root your phone and play with it like an advanced user, check if there are ROMs available and being constantly developed for it
goo.im is a good site to discover that using the phone model.

Thank you for all your replies. So far I really like the look of the HTC One

Just to let you know I went for the HTC ONE. What an amazing smartphone! i recommend anyone looking for a new phone to go for this one!!!

it is amazing, the reason i went with the galaxy s4 is because the HTC ONE has a sealed battery. If htc one didnt, id have went with it for sure.
