I downloaded the version for WM5 / Arm processor but when I install I get an error message stating ‘this version was intended for a previous version’. Here is what I have from the ‘about’ screen:
OS: Windows Mobile 5.0 with the Messaging and Security Pack
ROM Version: 5.1.342.15100
Processor: ARM926EJ OMAP1710
My phone is a Samsung SGH-i607 aka BlackJack

I would also like to know which version is appropriate for Windows Mobile 5 based SmartPhones.

I have the same problem with My registered copy of Avast PDA edition.
Last week I have changed my Old PDA with a Samsung SGH-I600 with Windows Mobile
5.0 Smartphone Edition and version 5.0 for smartphone does not install.
Which version I must use?

p.s. The unique installation that seems to work is a 2003 smartphone edition but doesn’t work 100% functions!
Hello, Sprint / Samsung SGH-I600 have a squared display and i’ll have to change UI control positions. I’ll send you a testing version within two days.
I would also like to be kept up to date on this subject. Avast is the only AV app I trust and use it on all my computers as well as recomend and install it on all the machines I build for friends/co-workers. My Blackjack should be no different. Please keep me posted.

I am unable to install Avast on to my new Samsung i-600, any suggestions? Have tried most smart phone variants of Avast but am given a message advising that the software is not indended for this device.
