Upon starting up my HP Desktop Vista 64 bit I get a white screen. I can’t do anything, it just sits there…white.
I can get to safe mode command prompt , but I don’t know what to type in the box.

Thanks for the info , but this is happening on my desktop computer. Since it happened when I turned it on this morning, I have been able to get to the screen for system restore and restored it back a few days, before this happened to me. Hubby was looking at a joke site and the screen went completely white, no task bar, nothing. I am going to run Malwarebytes to see if anything shows up there.
