Hi, thanks for response.
I already reported as a false positive, I was accepted into the Avast Whitelisting Program and yesterday the files were whitelisted by the whitelist system. But today my customers have apps blocked by Avast. So my question is: my digital signature are whitelisted or just the executable?
Wouldn’t your users have old unsigned versions of the executables ?
I believe your acceptance into the whitelisting program would rely on your files also being digitally signed.
The files would be checked for a digital signature as part of the scanning function.
Hi, thanks for response.
No, the file is signed for a long time ago.
After included in whitelist, the wrong detection changes immediately?
If that has the same digital signature as the one you registered, it would appear that you have just answered your question.
So my question is: my digital signature are whitelisted or just the executable?A far as I'm aware only executables and possible any dll files (if you have any) would be signed.
