Whitelisting by Digital Signature

Hi,

I have recently been accepted into the “whitelisting program” and have my details for the FTP server, I noticed on the online advice that you support whitelisting by Digital signature.

I replied to the whitelisting@avast.com email to enquire further about this functionality over a week ago and have had no response. I have looked at other treads on here and they all just point to the link the online advice stating

“Vendors who sign their applications with digital signatures can apply for whitelisting via their digital signature. This type of whitelisting is provided to a limited number of digital signatures, and only if the software developer has a clean track record”

However no where does it give any advice on who or where to contact to start this process, could you please tell me who I need to contact to start this process?? I work for a large International Company who deploy regular software updates and recently some of our customers have started using AVG / Avast anti-virus and this has flagged several of our files. it would save everyone a lot of time and effort if we could get our Digital Signature whitelisted instead of me having to submit multiple files regularly.

Im not a developer i’m 2nd line support for my company and have to deal with the customers IT teams when they call in saying their anti-virus is blocking our latest update.

Both those links take me to the online articles which I have already read but as I said in my first post there is nothing on there to tell me who to contact regarding applying for whitelisting by digital signature. I have already applied for and been accepted the whitelisting program but how do I go to the next step

Whitelisting is only available for developers.

My company has a development department and we do develop and release our own software to customers who use your anti-virus

as I have already stated I already have access to the whitelisting FTP server and have already uploaded our latest software release files for assessment and whitelisting.

My question is simply who do I need to contact to apply for our digital signature being whitelisted to save me uploading files over and over again…

Is the whitelisting@avast.com email monitored?

Afaik, yes. But you need to be patient, it’s holiday season. :wink:
