Hi forum members,

Chain mail can be a form of misinformation, and it is good to break the chain.Chain mail can also be a means of getting viruses. Look at this site with information about a mail with a so-called patch for Microsoft:

Actually it was a virus. OK… I hear friend Eddy now who will say this was an oldie, but these sort of things re-emerge all of the time. Be aware you see such a thing the next time, but you might have just deleted it.

There are numerous emails that purport to have MS patches, usually after MS patch Tuesday and always fake as MS doesn’t distribute patches in this way.

I don’t see how they can put this in the exclusives folder/category, it is as old as the hills and I think mentioned on these forums on more than one occasion.
