Who has the "iframe" virus?!

If you have the “iframe” virus go to “C:\Windows\System32” & search for “Power.exe” it has a Play Station logo (mine had) ;D
Delete “Power.exe” (if you don`t trust me create a back-up), before you restart run “CCleaner” & remove evrything!!!
Restart your PC/Laptop, hope nothing will happen anymore…

Leave a message, please…
Even if it doesn`t work!!! :-X

-DEViANCE :-*

I`M NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANYTHING!!! >:( >:( >:(

-= I found one on the laptop… But, mine is something like related to Power Management…

-= I guess I’ll leave mine on laptop…

You could also check the offending/suspect file (before doing anything else) at: VirusTotal - Multi engine on-line virus scanner and depending on the findings e.g. multiple detections would you make any decision on a course of action.

The safer option to removal, is to first check its properties and if it is digitally signed and or associated to a laptop power management. If still unsure, rename it powerSUS.exe, deletion really is a poor first option you have none left.

Creating a backup first is surely the best idea given since Power.exe can be a legitimate file. Below are only 3 examples of many reasons this executable might be on your computer.

Of course, as the OP suggests, it can be a unwanted executable.

As David states above, it is imperative that the Power.exe on your computer is verified before it is deleted.
