Why am I not being alerted?

I have all my file shield settings to ask, why is it blocking automatically rather than alerting me?

Yes, thats the new HIPS Module :slight_smile:

And i cannot find a setting to change HIPS to ask.

Once again: Avast put something not entirely finished in, for stuff like this they should have settings to set to ask

Thanks, I suspected it :slight_smile: At least they should insert some kind of description in the alert box. Why this action has been blocked and so on. Now is very confusing.

It seems to be blocking only registry entries when I open certain apps like lightscreen portable

Maybe lightscreen is an unknown application for Avast so it blocks some of its actions. The only thing you can do now is disabling the hips in file system shield settings.

Set hips to monitor for malware like behaviour only
