If i will find a Handy which is locked by a normal Handy Pin, i will hard reset the Handy to factory defaults and i will use my own sim card after reset.
This will be the normal doing for most people … so why should i user Anti-Theft on my Handy? There is no way to find my Handy with Anti-Theft if someone will reset the Handy hard to factory defaults and use the own sim, am i right?
Hello,
you can install Anti-Theft rooted - this way it survives a hardreset.
alternatively you can just turn off the pin protection.

How can i see if my install is rooted?
You need to check if your phone is rooted (for instance: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=root+checker&c=apps&price=1).
Then you can run, within avast! Mobile Security two tests: if the setting were saved and if you can simulate a stole success.
ok it tells me that it has no root access.
so if i break the software to get root access this will result in guarantee issues, isnt it?
Root is not for common users. Yes, you’ll break the guarantee. But a lot of people do that to get full control of the phone. It’s up to you. There are a lot of tutorials how to root your specific model of phone. Google it
