why avast adblocker doesn't work in IE10?

when i use ais 8 and i install avast adblock for ie but it seems it doesn’t work.
but when i see it in ie it says has been used.
my computer is win7 x64 IE10 RTM
it seems that many people have this problem ,please help me.

My question is,does the adblock actually have any kind of database or you have to enter everything yourself

My adblock works fine on IE10. (Windows 8). Did you try a repair of Avast?

I am using IE 10 on Windows 8 and I haven’t been able to get the ad blocker to work either.

EDIT: Oh, it works, I just had to restart IE after I enabled the plugin in IE.
