Why avast! not detect brazilian trojan encrypted?

By the way i am using VMWarePlayer to create these virtual machines, but i will set up a VirtualBox VM soon.

But i have to install the GuestAdditions in a other way cause i cannot install them via the Menu for some odd reason…

not if the file is sendt in a password protected zip file…using a zip program that also encrypt the content, like 7zip of WinRAR.

What is DeepScreen ?

New DeepScreen technology allows avast! to make more intelligent decisions about new/unknown files. DeepScreen is a successor of AutoSandbox, now upgraded with some additional new technologies such as dynamic binary translation and dyna-gen announced earlier.

@Pondus: Gmail has already detected infected files in protected archives for me. I dont know why.

zipped with 7zip or WinRAR ?.. as that works with no problems for me

7-Zip. Definitely malware files. But i can check that back if you want cause i have a folder with 234 malwares in it.

nope … i am not the one with the problem.

@True Indian: The VM is running Windows 7 Professional SP 1 With 2 Processor cores and 2 GB RAM.

Hello,

Are brazilian trojans bankers ( crypted ) that infect thousands of PCs every days.

send them via chest or to virus@avast.com

I have sent for form of avast! days ago.

Sending once doesnt do any tricks…because they have 1000’s of samples to analyze.Keep sending via mail until detection is added.

Not added because are a failure in the automation of the analysis.

Its pointless if you cant hit the forward button everyday in your mails. At some point they will be added for sure.Even I am a malware hunter but I dont laze around,I send my samples everyday and if they are not detected I keep sending them until they get somewhere in avast database
