Why cant I see where my phone was last located ?

I’ve lost my phone . I’m hoping it is in the house however the Avast mobile app is not very good for number of reasons

  1. it says current battery is at 24% on my phone. The phone is dead . I can only assume it had 24% battery when it made contact last so to say current battery is somewhat misleading

  2. secondly for current location it gives me an IP address. This is next to useless as a search of the internet on the ip location just tells me its a private address : it may even be my own. Whats rong with using similiar technology to what apple uses on “find my phone” which shows you a picture of the approximate location. I only need to know if its still in my house! If its not and I lost it somewhere else I can give up the search!

This is really annoying and I hope Avast can sort it out

Thanks. that shows the sim card hasnt been changed but doens help answer my questions
