why can't I sign in with my avast account in Avast Mobile security

Hi
I’ve installed Avast Premium on my Pc licensed version I also installed avast mobile security.
Now I want to connect my android phone and tablet to my avast account but when I enter my account details
it keeps on telling me that that username/password is incorrect.
I can however use the same credentials correctly when logging in through the website on my laptop

please advice

the reason that I couldn’t logon was because I used a special character “&” in my password this is not allowed
