Why Can't I Sync to A Non-Google Email Acct

I used to have a gmail acct and obviously synced everything through that. I’ve decided to get as far away from Google as I can. So, I now have a fastmail acct, and was eager to go back to Avast. But ALAS! It seems the only way you sync is through Google. Am I correct? Is there no alternative solution? :‘( :’(

Thank you for your question. I can recommend creating a new Avast account using your Fastmail.
You don’t need any other account.
