Why do files keep getting hidden after cleaning?

[size=14pt]About a week or so ago I ran all the programs and found that I was infected with autorun.inf so I went through process. However, I didn’t post my findings, and I made bad mistakes by deleting programs that were flagged, after looking them up and finding them associated with virus’ such as Free File Viewer. It seemed that everything was alright but files were missing again. After finding almost 600 videos, they were gone, as well as my windows live mail folder, both of which are kept on an external hdd and a flash drive. I don’t see a way to save files on this initial page so i’ll assume I’ll have to Reply to attach them.
I suddenly got sick of it and last night I started a System Image Recovery hoping to bring me back to before the virus got me. I notice that Free File Viewer is there again, of course, but I am not touching, deleting anything until I hear from you.
So I Come to you begging for your help: can you please check the new logs that I just ran and see what you can find, I don’t know anything about reading these things and I can’t deal with these files disappearing. One thing I did do was change the name of the folder where the 586 videos are and it hasn’t been touched since as far as i know. I have McShield running all the time, bulletproof.
If it helps, I stil have the reports: addition.txt, FRST.txt from the first time I ran them, the rest have been over writen.
Please see what you can do, I would very much appreciate it.

It may be some hours wait so be patient

Thank you, and thank you for what you guys do. I can’t imagine why someone would do this to another person, but thanks for being there to help us.

Free file viewer is/comes with malware.

i’m not sure i understand. I have reviewed the url’s but have not yet done the metascan. I attempted to use the “chat” function but they were apparently too busy or didn’t understand me, i didn’t get a response so I don’t know if I am supposed to talk to them first or, actually I don’t know what i’m supposed to do at this point. I see how bad freefileviewer is, I deleted it prior to my System Image Restore but I wanted to make sure it gets deleted properly and completely not tht it’s back.
Please advise as to my next steps.
thank you once again

from detection names given it is PUP / Adware

Please advise as to my next steps.
Wait for Essexboy to arrive ... it will be a couple of hours, he is usually online around 15:00 european time

ok, thank. i really don’t understand all the words being used or what i’m supposed to do about it.
Is freefileviewer the only problem detected? virus/malware, etc?

Essexboy will guide you

Indeed Pondus, it is PUP/Adware and possibly even a browser hijacker.

I await instruction on how to get rid of it completely, at your convenience. I am new to this, I do not understand these things, but I can follow direct instructions.

http://blog.kaspersky.com/multiple-antivirus-programs-bad-idea/

You need to choose what you want to use.
Now you have McAfee and Windows Defender running at the same time.

I was not aware this was a problem. If it is a problem, which would you suggest that I use?

I was not aware that there was a conflict. Which program is most reliable and efficient? Which would you use, if I need to choose one, your advice would be greatly helpful.

my posts don’t seem to be getting through. I don’t understand how to use this system or the things you want me to do. I read and understand now why more than one anti virus program is bad. Would you kindly give me your advice on which one to use? Also, what is the “chat” like for, am I supposed to use it?
Please advise.

Disable defender

Let me know what problems you have after this
