The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer
From what I know normally the certificates are signed and verified by a third party (Verisign? etc.) and when you create a certificate and sign it yourself, it looks as though it could be a dodgy attempt at feigning security and so it is blocked.
