Why do I get a page load error in my Mozilla browser here?

Hi malware fighters,

Tried to go here: https://zeustracker.abuse.ch/
Then I get a page load error and notification, see attached gif image,

Could some-one explain?

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

From what I know normally the certificates are signed and verified by a third party (Verisign? etc.) and when you create a certificate and sign it yourself, it looks as though it could be a dodgy attempt at feigning security and so it is blocked.

Self-signed certificates make your data safe from eavesdroppers, but say nothing about who the recipient of the data is. This is common for intranet websites that aren’t available publicly,
