Why does behavior shield turn its self off every time i open my browser?

Why does behavior shield turn its self off every time i open my browser?
does this mean my security is compromised when its off?

And how can i easily fix it?

i was using Chrome and now use Avast Add Blocker Browser, every time i open up its turned off?
Makes me feel not safe and un-trusting of Avast to the point i am thinking to change my security provider.

Hi ka12, this is board is about Mac AV (Apple platform). There is no behavior shield in your in the Mac AV. Should we move this question to Windows AV section?
