Why does my VPN not show as on in my URL when I have activated my subscription for Secureline VPN?

Can someone tell me why my VPN does not show as on in my URL, when I have activated my subscription for Secureline VPN? I’m running Win10 64bit, Avast Ultimate software and Secureline VPN.
