since some days or weeks the avast voice tells me 2 TIMES !!
after every start up of windows
the
“your Virus Data Base has been actualised” (maybe in englisch its some other i am German and its in German
“die Virendatenbank wurde aktualisiert”
whats that ?
is avast double running by some mistake i made but not niticed ?
culd that be ?
i just can see one avast Task in Task Manager
has anyone the same situation ?

It’s a bug, resolved in the present beta’s. Next program update is supposed to quench it. Yes, many posters complain about it.

The virus definition database is in fact actualized when it is updated. Though updated makes more sense in this case because it means adding and/or subtracting virus definitions, whereas you can actualize a database without updating it.
As of today’s update on my laptop and PC, the “double notification” is resolved. Only got one instance of being told it was updated. Looks to be fixed.
Did you install the beta?
Meh, I spoke too soon. It wasn’t gone, just… for some reason it only “spoke” once.
But today’s update was back to the double-sound.
Never mind. 
What program version do you have ?
Avast 7.0.1466 was only released a few hours ago, that resolved that problem and some other issues. Try a manual Program Update from the avast interface.
Wow is your re-captcha setup screwy. Doesn’t preserve typed text when it fails, then tells me it’s a duplicate post when I retype everything and pass the captcha. You may wish to have someone fix that.
And this is resolved. Two machines were upgraded yesterday (Program upgrade) and have updated virus sigs twice since then. No more double voices.
the captcha setup is for the 3 first posts. You already got 3 so from now on no more captcha ;D
