Why I am I not protected?

Hi,
When opening my laptop this morning I got a notification saying my computer is no longer protected.
When trying to to add (re-add) a new device (the same as I allways have used) I get a messge saying my e-mail account is unknown for Avast…
Any ideas of what the problem is?
According to my order confirmation I am supposed to be protected for another 6 months.

Did you try rebooting again? if that fails then move on to a repair and reboot.

I tried to repair, but it didn’t work out.
Allthough it seems like Avast! is doing some analyze of the pagest I’m visiting, I still get the same message from the Awast! “desktop software”:
“X You are unprotected”

When I try to “solve”, nothing happens.

Is there any other security software installed that might be interfering with avast? if there is nothing conflicting then I’d say try a clean install of avast, the two issues you mention are probably related so hopefully fixing one also fixes the other.
