but I found that it does not support foxmail (an E-mail tool )

In what way is this email product not supported?
I can guess a part of what you are telling us … but I have to believe that the POP3/SMTP functions of foxmail are supported by default for WinNT/2000/XP users.
It would help us if you tell us your operating system.
So, please help us to help you by letting us know more about this issue.

I mean there are 7 protection functions~~
but on my computer,there just are 6 protection functions working~~
the one which is disable is MAIL-PROTECTION(I use chinese-simple version,maybe it is not the right translation )
It told me it just could work if i use Outlook or anthoer mail-tool(I can not remeber),but :-[ ,what i use is foxmail,and the mail-protection-function just do not work`~

If you read the manual on avast, it will tell you that the outlook/exchange provider only will work if you actually are using outlook/exchange (NOT Outlook Express)
Some other providers will show “waiting for…” and will come in action if they are really needed.
If you have configured avast correctly, there is nothing to worry about and you are fully protected.
maybe I did not configured correctly ,But are there some one using Foxmail,and avast can work by protecting Foxmail??

I have used Foxmail and avast with out any problems in the past.
I don’t use Foxmail anymore as I found a email program I liked a little better. I am hoping that when Foxmail 6 comes out that there will be an english version and I might switch back.
But Foxmail does work ok with Avast. I am using Windows XP SP2.
Same here with XP SP2
And I use Foxmail 6.0 beta 3 chiese-simple
I will sovle this problem while I come back to school coz my computer is at school
