I paid for my Avast virus scan & recently I updated to latest version 11.2.2262.
Since update smart scan now only takes less than 1 min, before it took about 15 mins.
Can you tell me whats gone wrong, I dont believe it’s scanning all correctly. What can I do.

It is depend on Files Volume.For me it take 2 min to complete.So this is normal

See attached below for a C: drive partition of 34.9 GB. Only four parameters are checked off to run on a Smart Scan. You’ll see that it took 01m:21s to complete. A system running XP will take longer to complete scan than an i7 system running Win 10 will, give the hardware on XP is obsolete.
One way to fix an issue such as yours is to go to Programs and Features or Add/Remove and double click the avast installation. A window will open which will offer to uninstall/change/ or repair your installation. Suggest Repair and reboot when repair process is done.
