Wi-fi inspector scan issue

Hi–Just updated to new version, went well. Ran some scans, including boot-time, also all well. Wi-fi inspector scan showed I was vulnerable to WannaCry and instructed to fix by installing a missing Windows update. I did this, and Windows Update file list shows that fix is installed. However, re-runningWi-fi inspector states that problem still exists. Suggestions? Thanks!

Windows 7 professional, 64 bit, Avast, Windows Defender

What does Wi-Fi Inspector say the missing KB number is?

March 2017 Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 x64-based Systems KB4012212.

I ran the Wi-fi inspector scan earlier this morning and problem still reported. However, I ran it again just now and the problem is no longer listed. Prior to this last scan I changed a couple of options to see if it would make a difference–unchecking both Enable Cyber Capture and Enable Avast Email Signature. I don’t know if this was relevant or not. I rechecked Enable Cyber Capture and Enable Avast Email signature and ran again without a problem reported. My guess is that there was a delay in integrating the result of the fix into the notification system. Whatever the reason, I am relieved to know that the vulnerability is solved.

I think a temporary glitch came with the new update. Likely fixed with a streaming update sometime during the day.

Glad you got it sorted out.
