wifi connection shows blocked on windows 7 -UPDATE: internet still comes through

I am on the latest FREE avast 7.0.1

In the tray it shows wifi as exclamation mark(no internet access)

I switch off avast and then it shows full internet access

Been on this a few hours

Then i just noticed that although taskbar tray shows no internet access

In fact It is coming through

Strange one that

please fix

as i keep getting calls to sort it out

avast is not blocking the internet access it must be something else that block it

any third party firewall?

how is the signal from your wifi is is strong and stable?
