Wifi security scan failing.

Been having this issue since the last update. Fully up to date galaxy s7 edge on the three network in the UK.
No matter what I have tried from completely uninstalling all my avast products and re installing whenever I try to scan a wifi network it fails after about two seconds. I have tried several different wifi networks with different routers but it continues to fail. I’ve seen a few mentions of this in the forum but can’t find a resolution even after trying some of the advice like stopping smart switch.

Any hell would be much appreciated and any info you need let me know.

You could try the latest beta and see if it solved in that version.

Would you be able to give me some information on getting the beta version? Could it possibly be a permission problem?

I’m having this same issue here in the states with my Galaxy S7 Edge. I’m not so sure I trust a beta version. Please help!

If you don’t want to try the beta, wait for the final release.

Eddy, you and I appear to have missed, this is the avast for mobile sub-forum and I don’t believe there is a current beta session for Avast Mobile Security for android.

OK - Could have done with its own new sticky with information in this sub-forum. Given this was posted on 18 June 2017, 21:13:34 » and public release will follow in a few days. We are more than a few days past that point and no sign of a new release.

Well, you know how avast is counting days ;D
They are using a different calender then everyone else.
