Will Avast! 4.8 Home automatically update to Avast! 5 Home?

I formatted my pc two days ago and installed Avast! 4.8 home 15-20 minuted ago. I tried Avast! 5 Home beta before the format, it’s really good but now i want to use full release, this is the reason why i installed Avast! 4.8 Home edition now. Will Avast! 4.8 Home automatically update to Avast! 5 Home after it’s going to be the full version? Greetings from Istanbul :).

I think that Avast’s staff said that yes, 4.8 Home version will update itself to Avast 5 - Free version. :slight_smile:

i guess that depends on what settings you are using in 4.8
Automatic update or Ask when update is available
