Will Avast 8.0 run with Ad-Ware

It’s been my personal experience that running Avast(since the beginning) and a malware/spyware software does the security trick for me.
My current malware software has become unacceptable and I would like to change. I’ve got Avast 8 running on a Windows 7 - 64 bit operating system on my laptop.

Can Avast run compatibly with Ad-Ware by Lavasoft?

i recomend running the best secondary scanner… Malwarebytes. http://www.malwarebytes.org/

also recomended, MCShield usb protector. http://www.mcshield.net/

Ad Aware free now have realtime protection and a integrated antivirus engine, so this may give conflicts

I would just stick with avast.
Ad-aware is completely useless nowadays and just a waste of resources.

Thanks everyone for your advise. I checked out a couple of recommends and they weren’t what i was looking for. Maybe I’ll try disabling the malware software and see what Avast can do on its own.
