recently after microsoft came out with the build 1511 update for windows 10 64 bit, my comodo firewall suddenly fails avast antivirus’s compatibilty scan saying my firewall is a antivirus (when i install my firewall it gives me an option to install their antivirus but i always uncheck it).
right now i’m reinstalling windows 10 and i’m going to install avast antivirus and use windows firewall but i do want to use my regular firewall (comodo, since i’m not very comfortable with using windows firewall).
will avast recognize my firewall if i installed it after updating windowsOnly one way to find out i guess, install and find out
Why Outbound Firewalls Are Pointless For Most People (win10 firewall have outbound protection if you turn it on)

and creating a restore point before doing it wouldn’t hurt ether! ;D
Make sure you install the latest Comodo Firewall and just the firewall.
https://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/firewall.php (v8.2.0.4792)
There were issues with earlier versions and Win10.
How to install just the firewall http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-install-comodo-firewall.htm
You are upgrading the operating system.
Creating a restore point is totally useless.
