Will avast run on vista?

I got a new Pc and I was wondering if it ran on windows vista. I noticed it freezes up sometimes.

Yes it will. (Installed it on my neighbour’s Vista machine yesterday.)

If you’re having problems, try to give more detailed information: what exactly is happening, what error reports are given, can you find any other warnings, error reports in system logs etc.

I have avast on vista home premium, after uninstalling MacAfee trial, and it works as a charm, no hick-ups whatsoever,

Works as a charm on 64 bit Vista aswell. :wink:

I have it running on XP SP3, Vista Ultimate Sp1 and now on a test machine which is running Windows 7 Ultimate beta 6801.
avast! works perfectly on all of these systems

i recently bought a new laptop too with windows vista home premium
Uninstalled Norton right away and got Avast

works flawlessly ;D
