I am extremely unhappy with avast and the amount of add to buy more products,… when I bought Premium almost a year ago I did not expect the adware from avast to be so horrible. If I wanted the other stuff I would have bought it. STOP TRYING TO SELL TO ME I WILL NOT RENEW BECAUSE IT PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH. I will purchase another companies software. I am extremely annoyed,…as you can clearly see, It is not right, it is not fair to those who have premium, and it is bad business practices to pester your customers. The never-ending bugs, when they fix one they create two new or reintroduce an old one previously fixed, as well as selling our info,… a simple google search can find this. I do not agree with that.
You can disable the ads in the paid versions: Avast GUI → Settings → Personal Privacy

Simple fact that it is enabled by default, in a paid version, says a lot about Avast!
