Win 10 avast bug fixed?

i have recently switched to Avira because avast is glitching out on windows 10. sometimes when i boot up my laptop and login it says ‘Critical Error: Start Menu and Cortana aren’t working.’ almost every1 knows about this, i just want to know if it is fixed.

What version of avast did you had ?

Reboot to safe mode, then immediately reboot to normal mode and the error should disappear
