Hello Deneze welcome to the Avast forum:
This link may offer some help to your problem.

Are you running the panda antivirus program as well as Avast?
Running 2 AV programs at once will cause you some grief!

No i have tried to Remove Panda right off my hard drive but it wont leave either then it says its not there when it still is ,it wont remove after i click remove.

this is why i ended up getting avast.it id driving me nuts.it wont go in the chest and it cant be deleted or repaired. boy i hope something works soon my computer is getting screwy.

and thanks

Hi Deneze

There is some very useful information about Panda Removal on this site, by the looks of things Panda has a number of services running that require termination (stopping) so that removal is successful.

Suggest you dis-connect from the Internet prior to removal.
Panda Removal:
First look in the Panda AV program for a Start with windows entry. If this is checked (ticked) un-check and reboot.
If you can not find a Start with windows entry in the Panda AV program.
Click start then run, type msconfig in the open dialog box then press enter.
This will load the Startup Configuration Utility
Click on Start tab
Remove any ticks from any/all Panda listing
Press apply and reboot
1)Try and Uninstall Panda AV via Control Panel Add/Remove Programs (remove) Now
Reboot
If this is unsuccessful you may have to try an uninstall of Panda in Safe Mode.
When you have successfully removed Panda I would suggest trying a repair of Avast.
You need to be connected to the internet to do this.
Go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs Click on Avast/Remove scroll down to Repair and click repair.
Reboot.
If this is unsuccessful you will have to uninstall Avast
2)Uninstall Avast via Control Panel Add/Remove Programs (remove)
Reboot
Reinstall Avast
Reboot
