win.32:trojan-gen again

i use win98se avast home edition 4.1 build 4.1.418 extreme toolkit 1.9.4.0 vrp file version 432-2.
i have found win32:trojan-gen in my windows directory on a file called winh.exe i moved this to the virus chest. i cant repair this, and other posts suggest this is a hoax or something. if it is a hoax how do i stop it and if its not how do i sort it.
im new here so u have to excuse me if i dont read the other 1000 or so posts

  • status of Windowsupdates ?

  • results of onlinescaners KAV, RAV and Trend (with avast shield paused while scanning)

  • a hijackthis_log for diagnosis
