I am please seeking assistance.
I’ve been a happy Avast 4 user for a couple of years. My license was running out, so I bought a new 2 year Avast 5 Pro license. I downloaded the setup file and the license file, now I can’t get the darn thing running.
Every single time, it hangs at the exact same place. Early on in the process, "There was an error while completing the setup process. The last few lines of the setup log are:

I’ve scanned the forums. and
deleted Ad-Aware
deleted CCleaner
Turned System Restore OFF (not comfortable with that one)
Any other ideas? I’ve submitted a ticket asking for a new v4 licence, or a refund - but would definitely prefer to get this working as I have been very happy with the prior release.
