I can’t get email from Avast after buying there Internet Security for my 3 home PC’s. How do I get my License from them to put in my 2 other PC’s?
This is all I get in there emails.

you use the same license you used in the first PC…you did save it…did you?

No I didn’t even notice it, I just downloaded the program.

Did I waste $60.00, I mean whats that saying about a protection company that can’t send a email through windows email.

so you have installed it on one pc?
if you open the program, what does it say…license valid to ? ? ?

you cant blame avast if something is wrong in the receiving end

That email is from the payment processing company and it should have your license.avastlic attached or a link in the email to download the file. That same file is valid for use on the other two systems or however many licenses you have purchased (it is a multi user license).

So you copy that file to your other systems and enter it in the same way as the first system.

It say “Subscription Valid Till” 2/13/2013 and there is a green button that says Insert License.

so you have correctly installed avast on that computer with a valid 2 year license
now you repeat what you did on that computer with the two others…

I got 3 email from Avast here are the Subject Lines.

Subject: avast! Free Antivirus - your license information.

Subject: Payment information

Subject: Download link and license for “avast! Internet Security 5.0 (3 PCs, 2 years)”

There is no other info in the emails, no Paper Clips.

Well the last email:
Subject: Download link and license for "avast! Internet Security 5.0 (3 PCs, 2 years)

This should give a link to download the license file that we are talking about.

But you must have done this once or you couldn’t have entered it in the first system, to do that you would have had to have saved that license file. Copy it to the other systems or try and download it again from that last email and repeat the process.

As I said, that same file is valid for use on the other two systems or however many licenses you have purchased (it is a multi user license).

They show you a link on the website to download the program, I didn’t save the link and they didn’t mail me a copy for the other 2 PC’s. I’m a woman what do you expect. When I downloaded and installed the program it restarted my PC and I lost the webpage I was on. I never worked with a company like this. Most companys send you a number that you have to enter. But since they can’t send a email though win 7 with the info whats the point of using them as a Internet Security company.
This is the first time I used my home Email address for a purchase and the last…

The program can be downloaded anytime from here http://www.avast.com/en-no/download-software

Then you insert the license, as you did in your first install…how did you do that…repeat it

I figured out a bypass, I rebooted to a back-up drive running XP Pro and had them resend the License and that worked.
Thanks everyone for your help.

You’re welcome.
