I have had no issues since program update (3 weeks ago or so) before now. Thank You Avast Team (btw)
But then again, it does not actually say it “fixes” anything for my Win7 x64. 
Anyways, I had an Excel workbook open when I noticed my Cursor Flash, continually every 10 seconds or so…
It was then I noticed my little “a” spinning tough! I opened Interface just to make sure I hadn’t set a forgotten scan, etc
No, it was File System Shield, scanning and rescanning system32 files galore! Especially extension DLL.
Went to Expert Setting and changed to remove checkmark from DLL box. However, it made no difference. After restart, re-open Excel same crazy Cursor and spinning avast icon in taskbar. Only stops when I close Excel totally down. Am I missing a setting to stop it from happening? Or what do you suggest?
