Could someone please help with this worm attack…tried Ad-ware, Spy Bot, Spy Sweeper, Spyware Doctor…with no luck

Have you tried a boot time scan with avast!
(Right click on the scanner screen and select ‘schedule a boot time scan’.)
Beagle-FC was added to avast!'s definitions in October, so it should find it.

thanks for the speedy reply…
Tried that…and it found that worm and gave me a load of numbered options but the screen just froze on that…i hit the different numbers recommended by avast but the screen was just frozen also hit esc with no luck … In the end i had to turn off the computer as everything frozen…

You probably have a cordless keyboard which won’t work during the boot time scan. (The driver is not loaded that early.) You will need to either plug in a corded keyboard, or to set the default boot time action to ‘move to chest’. (I think the new update has this option.) If this is not an option, set the default to ‘move’.
